Saturday in London meant no work for Mike or Ellie so we had the whole day to do some exploring. After slow start to the morning we jumped on the tube and headed to Borough Market.
It was a chance to tick off yet another thing on the London list, and try out the famous doughnuts from Bread Ahead. I mean everything looked and smelled so good but not tempting enough to distract me from the doughnuts.
How good does that look?! It was so yummy! It kept me amused while we wandered around the stalls checking out everything they had to offer.
The fresh fruit and veg looked so good and just check out all the colours; tomatoes, carrots and mushrooms.
Of course we grabbed a coffee to keep us cozy while we planned out our next stop…
Covent garden for a spot of shopping, tea and a seat.
It was really busy so decided to put a stop to taking photos and just enjoy the afternoon. We eventually started to head towards Leicester square for our dinner reservation before the show.
Don’t these margaritas look amazing? And they taste just as good, if not better by the time you’re on number 3!
I’d never heard of Cantina Laredo before but now I can’t wait to go back!
And if the Margaritas aren’t enough to get you excited then the guacamole should be; they prepare it at your table so you know its fresh. I don’t know what it is about London but it’s the only place I’ve ever had decent guacamole. I’ve come to the conclusion that i’m just going to have to start making it myself….if it goes well I’ll share it with you.
The main course was also pretty good; we opened for the pre-theatre menu, served until 6.30, and at £20 for 2 courses or £25 for 3 it helped balance out the cost of all the margaritas…woops!
After eating our fill it was time to run over to the theatre for Aladdin and Oh my! it was incredible! if you live in London or are visiting and want a show to watch make sure its top of your list. Get your tickets here. Let me know if you liked it too..and if you didn’t then you’re probably just wrong haha! (nothing could spoil how much I loved it)
