My favourite things about Autumn

Or here in Edinburgh Autumn is more accurately known as those 2 weeks in October before winter really kicks in. To say we don’t get seasons here wouldn’t be strictly true as we get a bit of a summer and we definitely get winter but spring and autumn are short lived so you really have to make the most of them while they’re around.

So grab that camera quick and take as many photos as possible of those pretty leaves as they’ll soon just be mush on the pavement! They turn fast you really only have about a week to appreciate them in all there glory so I make that priority number one.autumn2

Another favourite is a walk along the beach. It’s quiet cause it’s starting to get cold but that’s how I like it. You’ll pass the occasional dog walker but mostly you’ll have the place to yourself to appreciate the sound of the waves and the greyish blue sky that merges into the sky at the horizon.autumn1

Once you’re all walked out you can get home, put on some warm PJs – cause its starting to get┬ádark at 5pm and darkness = PJ time obviously! Grab a blanket, hot chocolate and curl up with your current favourites on Netflix. What do you love about this time of year?

I couldn’t love this post more if I tried. My two favourite things about autumn…leaves and warm drinks. Your hot chocolate has literally got me salivating at my screen!! WOW.

If I could live in the Autumn season for the rest of my life, I would do it in a heartbeat! I love Autumn for all the reasons you do – I practically live in my PJs at this time of year! I wish I lived closer to the seaside for Autumn and Winter strolls along the seafront, particularly as your description of the sky meeting the sea reminds me of fond memories čÖé
